The Smet history has evolved since its early beginnings in 1934, when Robert Smet founded a company focused on quality custom homes. The first transition occurred when his son, Daniel, directed the company to commercial construction, including leased properties and warehousing. Under the current leadership of Daniel’s sons, Scott and Chad, Smet focuses solely on construction management while transparently overseeing subcontractors, budgets and client expectations.
