Tower Clock Eye Center

The best compliment is repeat business or a referral!

Smet Completes Ambulatory Surgery Center for Repeat Customer!

Back in 2011, we did an extensive remodel of the 5,000 SF Tower Clock Eye Clinic for Drs. Karl, Tyson & Kurt Schwiesow and Dr. Matthew Thompson. It was quite a project as the clinic stayed open during construction. The work was done in stages in order to keep the office open to customers. As areas were completed, the owner moved into them while we shifted our focus to the vacated areas. We also scheduled some of the work after hours to minimize customer inconvenience. The project was a success and the customer was very pleased.
Needless to say in 2012, we were very excited when the good doctors called on SMET when it came time to build their surgery center.  Smet colleagues, Jamie Blom and Sean Duncanson handled the project which required working with medical and healthcare surgery standards.  Jamie Blom said: “We knew how important this facility was to our client and we made sure our architect followed the proper Medicare surgery construction standards. “
This 6,000 SF state-of-the-art facility is the only independent out-patient ambulatory surgery center of its kind for ophthalmology serving Northeast Wisconsin. The facility contains two surgery suites (Class C and Class D) and its post op recovery area can accommodate up to 7 patients. Also featured is an on-site medical records storage area, a dictation suite, a medical equipment room and men’s & women’s locker rooms. The work was completed on a five month schedule on time and on budget.
In both cases, SMET knowledge provided a quality building at the right price. And for a repeat customer!
If you have a medical facility that requires special knowledge and construction to meticulous standards, give SMET a call to find out how we can help you!
