Bellevue Total Health – Physical Therapy Clinic

Bellevue Clinic Doubles Its Size!

When it came to their old location, the doctors and nurses at the Bellevue Total Health Clinic were literally bursting at the seams. They had problems with double-booking of rooms, not enough space for the physical therapy programs and literally not enough rooms to see their patients.
So they did what several doctors and health care facilities have done in the recent past. They turned to Smet Construction Services to assist with finding a solution to their space needs. Smet’s Greg Runnoe sat down with Drs. Kenney & Nystrom.
Soon, Greg had worked out several options for new construction, but then he heard of an existing building that just came on the market. He checked out the listing and quickly saw that an adapted re-use was the way to go. The location was great, not too far from the existing smaller facility. Plus, it had room to accommodate large semi-trucks, which was important to the clinic as it provides DOT testing to area trucking companies and drivers in need of the required DOT testing.
There was only one problem with the new building; the space actually might be too big. It was over twice the size of their existing building. Greg again sat down with the good doctors, and together they worked out a space plan that actually allowed for future expansion.
The end result is a 9,000 SF facility located on two floors with ample windows throughout. The remodel included installing several physical therapy rooms, upgraded restrooms, installing a laundry room, showers, and private rehab suites. The clinic provides chiropractic services, physical therapy, acupuncture, and nutritional services to patients throughout Northeast Wisconsin. There is even a classroom area that is an area to educate the public on various educational topics. The clinic serves area businesses and industries with DOT physicals, drug & health screenings, and DNA lab services. The location in an eastside Green Bay business park provides excellent access and visibility.
